Who is holding the course ?

I’m Caoilfhionn, a local poet and somatic coach living in Long Crendon. I’ve been writing blogs and posts regularly online for the past 7 years, as well as performing my poetry at Thame Poetry Salon, The Oxford Storytelling Festival and Catweazle.

I founded Thame Poetry Salon in the spring of 2025 as I was looking to provide local poets and writers with a stage for performing their art. It’s a monthly open mic night hosted at The Cross Keys in Thame with a regular community of poets, storytellers and improvisers.

I’ve created this Get it Written course so that local writers have the structure, community and accountability to devote themselves to their writing in a powerful way.

After having written basically nothing for a couple of years, this course reinvigorated my love for the process and I'm now writing regularly again :)
