Thame Poetry Salon

Hosted once a month at The Cross Keys in Thame, the goal of this event is to offer a supportive platform for local poets and creatives and to give audiences a unique experience.

If you have some poetry or other creative offerings such as storytelling, music, improvisation or short stand up comedy routines that you’ve been hoping to share publicly in a welcoming environment, please do get in touch with me about performing on the night.

And similarly if you’ve been looking for an interesting night out, where you experience local artists in their element, then this is the event for you!

πŸŒ™ An evening of poetry, storytelling, musical and improvisational performances πŸŒ™

What to expect:

πŸ“I will create a list of performers from those who contacted me in advance and from those who ask on the door. Depending on the number of entries you will have the chance to perform 2-3 poems, stories, songs or scenes.

If there are too many performers, I will prioritise those who asked first.

You are very welcome to come if you don’t want to perform - we need audience members! Your attention helps bring the art to life ⚑️

πŸ–€ My goal with these events is that each performer leaves buoyed and supported in their craft, so I ask that a willing member of the audience gives them a complementary and insightful reflection of their performance. No criticism is allowed (life often offers plenty of that!)
